I assumed the food I was feeding my family had the quality in it. When I looked closer, it didn’t. So I grew it myself, and when I couldn’t, I went and found the ranch, the farm, or the neighboring homestead that was doing it right.
Alexander Henry’s Organics is what that search turned into. We raise what we can on our own homestead in the Marana area. Our goal is to produce everything we sell. Until our own homestead can keep up with demand, we bring in food from local ranchers and farmers whose practices we have verified ourselves. Then we put it all in one place, so our neighbors don’t have to do the searching I did.
What we stand for
Soil first. We’re working toward regenerative practices and tested soil across everything we offer, because nutrition starts in the ground.
Known sources. Every product comes from our family or from a producer we have verified in person.
Local, start to finish. Raised here, sold here, and the money stays here.
Barter. Donate. Educate. Nourish.
Those four words are how we work. We trade with neighbors, give food where it’s needed, teach what we’ve learned, and feed people well.
Still growing
We’re not there yet, and we’d rather say so. What you read here is our end goal, and we take steps toward it every day. Some of it is ready now and some is still ahead of us. Your orders are what make the rest possible.
Where this is going
We’re starting here, with the families around us in the Marana and Tucson area. The plan is to grow this locally first, then carry it to communities across the country, so families everywhere get fed the way ours does.
